Crest with gadroons, headband decorated with a fleur-de-lys motif, pencil holder, radiating rosettes decorated with fleur-de-lys motifs and silver-plated brass scale chinstraps. Leather lining of chinstraps with laces. Black horsehair caterpillar. Presented with a scarlet and black plume. Remainder of the interior leather cap. A.B.E.
