Helmet and cuirass set for rifleman. - Rifleman helmet. Bombe repercée, crest with oak leaf decoration, chinstrap with brass curb rings lined with leather. Iron headband with brass grenade pattern, star bosses. Leather inner headpiece. Posterior red track. A.B.E. (restorations). - Vest of cuirass in unbleached canvas and scarlet cloth. B.E. Modern reproduction. - Cuirass. Plastron and dossière in iron covered with brass bordered with brass rivets. Gilded brass eagle breastplate design on a radiating iron background. - Shoulder pads with brass rings and clasps. Lining of shoulder straps, tie rods and leather belt (small accidents to the leather, old belt but later, damaged). Iron and brass belt buckle. Markings on the breastplate and backplate " Mr Rle de Klingenthal July 1832. 1st T. 1st L. N°1275 ". A.B.E. Second Empire period.
