Officer's saber of line cavalry. Leather covered handle with double watermark. Brass mounting (traces of gilding). Cap with sides, guard with shell decorated with a riveted grenade motif. Blade arched with flat back, double pan hollow, with remains of engraving with the imperial eagle. E.M. S.F. (pitting, to be cleaned). First Empire period. The saber bolt is attached.
