First edition of this work admirably conceived by François-Louis SCHMIED (1873-1941), illustrated with seventy-three compositions in the text engraved on wood with the assistance of Theo Schmied, of which fifty-eight in colors, showing marvelously the colors of the oriental landscapes which pleased the artist so much. Edition at 110 copies on Arches wove paper, numbered and signed by François-Louis Schmied at the justification. A perfectly preserved copy.
