First edition of this play performed for the first time on the stage of the Théâtre du Gymnase on February 25, 1910, one of the twenty copies of the special edition on vellum paper of the Manufactures d'Arches for "Les XX", under double cover . Copy enriched with a superb autograph letter signed by Henry Bataille, bound at the head. Four pages in-8, undated but from 1904, it concerns his collection of poems entitled Le Beau Voyage: "In a fortnight, the book of my life will appear at Fasquelle, the book where, for ten years, I have put the best of myself, the only work of mine that I hold dear, that I have cherished to the point of deciding only very slowly, in spite of the insistence of my friends, to deliver it to the public... It is a volume of poems entitled Le Beau Voyage. " Beautiful copy in a binding by the Kieffer workshops, the same one found on other titles printed for the Society "Les XX" .
