PARIS 1769 - 1770 Silver snuffbox of hinged oval form, the interior formerly vermeiled. Transverse bands of leafy motifs run through it, framing oval medallions. On the lid is represented a scene of harvest in which two children tread grapes, on the reverse a trophy of musical instruments, and floral motifs on the perimeter.
