Handle with wooden plates, steel guard stamped with a "B" under a star, an "F" and the remainder of another stamp and marked "6", stamped in the groove "311" and remnants of the stamp, brass pommel and steel crossbars. Long yatagan blade with wide gutter and flat back marked "Mre IMPale de CHÂTt - June 1866", stamped on the heel with an "S" under a star and an "F" and marked "2". Steel scabbard marked "F" and "12" (partially faded) and stamped on the bolt "T" under star and the rest of another stamp. Length of the blade : 57,3 cm - Total length : 69,3 cmB .E .
