Glaive of the School of Mars. Bronze handle with scales. Guard in suite with three bolted quillons, two of which are curved downwards. Quillon decorated with the Phrygian cap. Straight blade with median edge. Wooden scabbard covered with green felt (mitted), and brass, with crevices and two rings of suspension. A.B.E. Revolutionary period (1794).
