Magnificent bull with its seal, in superb condition, concerning the Premonstratensians of Rouen. Provision granted to Carolus de Martinville, cleric, abbot of the monastery of Sainte-Marie de l'île [de l'Isle-Dieu "Insula Dei"], of the order of Premonstratensians of the diocese of Rouen, in reward for his good work in the monastery, and to fill a vacancy. The Pope recalls the acts taken by his predecessors and by the King of France concerning this establishment... Chancery signatures, including that of the apostolic nuncio in France, the future cardinal Bernardino Spada (1594-1661).
