Very rare catalog of the first surrealist exhibition, which was held from November 14 to 25, 1925 at the Galerie Pierre in Paris. It presented works by Jean Arp, Giorgio de Chirico, Max Ernst, Paul Klee, André Masson, Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, Man Ray and Pierre Roy. The preface is by André Breton and Robert Desnos. It precedes the reproduction in black of eight of the exposed works. Minimal soiling to the cover.
