A group of four voodoo stake statuettes, one of which is a male stake statuette with a beautiful style and a beautiful old ochre patina, its large paddle-shaped hands brought back to the lower abdomen, its very large feet also creating a dynamic effect, certainly a protective statuette; all are without their metal stake used to plant them in the ground in order to use them to attack or defend. Fon, Benin Wood, old wear and cracks, beautiful patina of use. H. 29 to 12 cm Provenance: Anne and Jacques Kerchache Collection
