Sword of a senior officer of the 1st regiment of the Queen's Cuirassiers. {CR}Fully watermarked fuse (reattached in one place). Gilded brass mounting. Round pommel, decorated with a chased fleur-de-lys. Guard with a branch. Keyboard chased with the "Arms of Frances", the coat of arms of the Queen and the "Arms of Savoy", enriched with palm branches. Turned up counter-keyboard, chased with a palmette surrounded by volutes. Triangular blade engraved, gilded and blued in third. Leather scabbard with two cut brass fittings, engraved with friezes and spider webs. Knob with palmettes.{CR}A.B.E. Restoration period. (Reassembling).
