Eggplant morocco, first cover entirely covered with a mosaic decoration of various morocco representing a country landscape with 3 beehives outside of which fly dozens of golden bees, second cover decorated with a shelf on which are placed 3 flower pots mosaic of morocco in brown and orange tones, surrounded by gilt bees, spine ribbed, framed in eggplant morocco, decorated with a double gilt fillet and a gilt bee at each corner, marbled leather lining and endpapers, double guards, gilt edges on witnesses, cover and spine kept, case (René Kieffer). Very beautiful and rare edition printed at only 150 copies on watermarked paper of the Société des amis du livre moderne, illustrated with a frontispiece and 69 compositions by Carlos SCHWABE, including two on the cover and 67 in the text, engraved in colors by the process of Mr. G. Bataille under the artistic direction of Mr. Henri Leitner. A very nice copy in mosaic morocco by René Kieffer, being one of the 15 put in the market, enriched with a decomposition of the colors of one of the illustrations. A very well preserved copy.
