Rare first edition, dedicated to Gala and Paul Éluard, of this collection of short poems by René Char, illustrated with 12 full-page black photographs. The last one includes an original collage made by Paul Éluard and André Breton, different in each copy, hiding the face of Louise Roze, godmother of the author. Edition of only 103 copies, this one being one of 90 on white coated paper. Small tears on the edges of the cover, spine faded. Small light stains on the first cover, not serious.
