First edition dedicated to Jules Chéret, printed at 138 copies on vellum paper of the Papeteries du Marais, illustrated with a frontispiece, a title vignette repeated on the cover, and 221 compositions in the text, all woodcut by Auguste LEPÈRE (1849-1918). Beautiful copy bound by Carayon. The binding shows very fine and very discreet restorations. The folder and the case are later than the binding.
