Dark blue chagrin, double gilt fillet and gilt rocaille framing on the boards, smooth spine decorated, triple gilt fillet inside, gilt edges (binding circa 1830). A very fine album of 111 (out of 112) plates of Spanish costumes, finely colored, engraved by Manuel Albuerne, Francisco de Paula Martí, José Vázquez, Antonio Vázquez and Manuel Alegre, after the drawings of the painter and draftsman Antonio Rodriguez (1765-1823). Missing plate 63 and the title, which were never bound in this copy. Beautiful copy in a romantic binding. Rubbing from use, corners dulled. Provenance: Seymour family. - Louis Becker, with ex-libris.
