Beautiful "Black and White" set of the Munich Civic Guard, Germany, circa 1580, including :- A black and white high crested morion in two parts. Wrought iron decorated on the sides with fleur-de-lis. Guilloche border. The rim is decorated with a series of brass rosette rivets. - A black and white wrought iron breastplate with a strong busk, in one piece, with its two buckles with an iron barb, in the upper part. Nice traces of hammering inside on both pieces. A.B.E. 16th century.
