Bronze ewer, Eastern Iran, 11th-12th centuryBronze with a high truncated cone-shaped body, a slightly rounded shoulder, a tubular neck with an oblique gutter spout and an angled handle riveted on the neck and body. Very finely engraved decoration of an epigraphic cartouche and three medallions with floral decoration on the shoulder, of a frieze of plant scrolls on the high part of the neck.
