Important and amusing rhyming gazette of 19 quatrains, with Verlaine's verse as epigraph, slightly distorted : " Tournez, tournez, bons cochons de bois ". Ponchon did not have much fun at the Neuilly fair. The only novelty, which made Paris run, was a merry-go-round whose wooden horses had been replaced by pigs. As in literature, it is the reign of the "winning pig". And Ponchon suggests replacing the pig with "the guitar without a neck / On which the women do dada"...
