A view of Sarah Bernhardt's office has been glued to the back of the frame, where this photograph can be seen on the wall. Sarah Bernhardt was a magnificent Queen of Spain, during the revival of Ruy Blas at the Odeon on February 19, 1872, with great success. She often took on this role, notably in 1879 at the Comédie-Française. She also played Doña Sol in Hernani.
