Stéphanie Félicité Du Crest, countess of GENLIS (1746-1830). 2 autograph manuscripts; 2 and 7 pages in-4, with erasures and corrections. Draft (paginated 14-15) of a passage from her book, Voyages poétiques d'Eugène et Antonine (Maradan, 1818), corresponding to pages 66-71 of the work. "His mortal worries were indeed premonitions! [...] Although she still had a fever, she got up in order to hide from Marval how much she was suffering and ill"... The other draft (pages 166 and bis to 171) is related to her Madame de Maintenon (Lecointe et Durey, 1825). During a conversation and then at the table, Mme de La Sablière evokes for Mme de Maintenon her conversion and the rupture of her love relationship with the marquis de La Fare. Two manuscripts of copies are attached, of a mandement of the abbot Georgel, Vicar general of the Grande Aumonerie of France in 1786, "which allows the use of eggs during Lent" (4 p. in-fol.), and of a letter of d'Épréménil concerning the affair of the Queen's Necklace (5 p. in-fol.).
