In 4/4 time, it is flexibly marked, and counts 68 measures. The manuscript, carefully noted in black ink on 10-line paper, is dated at the end "Villemeux 3-8 August 28"; it bears the stamp of the SACEM dated January 10, 1929. Attached is Book I of the Préludes pour le piano (H. Lemoine, 1927), with a.s. dispatch to René Chalupt; plus Hommage à Thibaut de Champagne (M. Senart, 1924), and Trois Chants pour Trois Poètes (A. Leduc 1930).
