Helmet of cuirassier model 1858. Iron helmet with marine calf skin headband (wear), stamped on the back and dated 1872. Crest with gadroons, rain screen, marmoset, pen holder and brass rush. Flowered bosses and leather-lined chinstraps with brass rings. Scarlet plumet. Remainder of interior cap (partly changed). Mane in black horsehair (remounted).
