GRÉCOURT (Jean-Baptiste Willart de). Poésies diverses. New edition, increased by a very large number of pieces, & purged of all those that have been falsely published under the name of this Author. Lausanne, Geneva : At the expense of the Company, 1747. - 2 volumes in-8, red morocco, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, ornate ribbed spine, gilt lace inside, gilt edges (Petit succr de Simier). Rare edition, among the first of the licentious poems of the abbé de Grécourt, illustrated with two identical, unsigned frontispieces and two title vignettes. It was not printed in Lausanne or Geneva but certainly in Paris. A beautiful copy in Petit binding, very well preserved despite some dark marks on the first cover of the second volume.
