First edition of the only play by Gustave Flaubert. It was first performed on March 11, 1874 on the stage of the Théâtre du Vaudeville and had only 4 performances. Spine soiled, some rubbing from use. A few pages reversed in the first book. Provenance: Léo Rouanet, with ex-libris.
