French corvette or frigate of 26 guns. Ivory miniature of Dieppe under globe. Beautiful model finely detailed with 26 guns, two rowboats, three masts and a set of rigging. The addition of red and gold polychromy allows a great realism of the model mainly at the level of the rear castle. The model is posed on two feet in ivory also. The whole rests on a base in clear wood and on a turned and blackened wooden base. The whole is placed under a glass globe. Light accident at the end of the bowsprit at the level of the jib stick.
