Flintlock marine trombone with folding bayonet on the underside. Round barrel, flared at the muzzle, with thunderbolt sides. Crowned "P", "V" and "TK" hallmarks. Flat-bodied lock and hammers. Chased battery spring. Iron trigger releasing the bayonet on the front of the trigger guard. Long-tail trigger guard and butt plate engraved with rocaille motifs and a deer. Formerly made of wood, A.B.E. Circa 1800.
