First edition of one of Emile Zola's most famous novels, forming the 11th volume of the Rougon-Macquart series. Copy on publisher's paper, to which was attached a false title of another copy, flying, including a sending from Zola to Madame Régnier. Some foxing. The leaf with the sending has some folds and tears with missing parts.
