First edition of Claude Debussy's score for voice and piano for "Pelléas et Mélisande", lyrical drama in 5 acts and 12 tableaux by Maurice Maeterlinck. ONE OF 50 COPIES ON JAPAN, not justified. Some wear on the edges of the boards, spine gold tarnished. The label bearing Debussy's name on the bottom of the first board is partly detached.
