Psaume for mixed choir, premiered on May 8, 2004 for mixed choir by the ensemble Les Cris de Paris, to whom the work is dedicated: "For Les Cris de Paris, and for all the sculpted doors. A typed notice states: "The choir is divided into a small choir of 2 sopranos, 2 altos, 2 tenors and 2 basses and a large choir (all the other singers). In each of these two groups, some divisi occur, normally indicated. In addition to these divisions, a spoken role, the cantor, occurs occasionally throughout the Psalm. His role is to "throw" verses, recalling the words to the choir. The work lasts 12 minutes. The text, in French, was translated by Olivier Cadiot: "Poème de méditation d'Asaf"... The manuscript is carefully written in black pencil on 18-line paper; the last 2 leaves are written on the back of a crossed-out manuscript.
