First edition of this collection of 16 sonnets by Henri de Régnier devoted to lace, illustrated with 16 beautiful full-page color costume compositions by the painter, decorator and illustrator Yann-Bernard DYL (1887-1944), reproduced by Daniel Jacomet, with gold and silver highlights. Limited edition of 350 copies, this one being one of 334 numbered on Canson Montgolfier paper (n° 168). Copy without the folder and the case. Small tears repaired on the spine and on the edges of the cover. Later sheet of strong vellum paper added to reinforce the cover. Carryovers of the engravings on the facing leaves, despite the serpents.
