An autograph card signed by the actor and director Pierre Dux (1908-1990), on the letterhead of the "Comédie Française. General Administrator", addressed to Jacques Crépineau, undated (circa 1970), 2 pages in-18. Envelope enclosed. Jacques Crépineau sent him sketches and models: "I have found nothing in them that gives a fundamentally different idea of the style - or let's say of the bias - of the creation, and that suggests something really new. Now Chantecler in 1974 - because it is not possible to envisage it before - should present itself under a completely new decorative aspect."He concludes by asking Jacques Crépineau to express his great admiration for Claude Lepape and his father Georges, "whose few works I know I have infinitely enjoyed, and with whom I would like to have a chat sometime". Attached to this card are two reproductions of costumes from Rostand's Chantecler from 1910 .
