First illustrated edition, printed at 315 copies, decorated with 6 full-page etchings by Michel CIRY. One of the 81 first copies on Auvergne pur chiffon à la main (n° 13), this one being one of the 27 copies including a suite of etchings on Berzélius (chine), a proof on Berzélius of two engravings not retained, and an etched portrait of the author, printed on the same paper and signed in pencil by the artist. A good copy bound by Michon at the time. Spine faded and some wear and tear on the nerves.
