Lavaux for the binding and Ateliers Boichot for the folder and case). PRECIOUS EXAMPLE OF THIS COMEDY BY SACHA GUITRY, first performed on April 27, 1927 at the Edouard VII theatre. The title roles were played by the author and Yvonne Printemps. Each sheet of these proofs contains numerous corrections in Sacha Guitry's hand; some passages have been rewritten. The stamp of the Crété printing house bearing the date 15 June 1928 can be found several times; these are the proofs for the pre-original edition of the play, which appeared in the August 1928 issue of Œuvres libres published by Arthème Fayard . The original edition did not appear until 1952, in volume II of the Jubilee series of the Works of Sacha Guitry published in Monte Carlo by Raoul Solar.
