Green cloth with bradel, morocco with the title in gilt letters on the first plate, smooth spine (Lemardeley). Complete suite of the 14 black lithographs of this series on actresses composed by Gavarni. Copy including plates 1, 2, 5, 7, 9 and 10 in the 3rd state of 3, plates 3 and 4 in the 4th state of 4, plates 6, 8, 12 and 13 in the 2nd state of 2, plate 11 in the 2nd state of 3, and plate 14 in the 2nd state of 4. These states can be recognized by the presence of the address of Bauger under the frame. This copy is enriched with the coloured and gummed proofs of plates 5 and 9, each cut out at the edge of the lithograph and pasted on tinted and openworked wove paper. There are also 6 other lithographs by Gavarni, coloured and gummed, including three from the Souvenirs du Carnaval series (n° 2, 3 and 5), one for Les Lorette (n° 77), one for L'Éloquence de la chair (n° 21) and one for the Bal masqué.
