Winchester Model 1894 AF Saddle Rifle, Caliber 30 W.C.F, used by the French Army. 49 cm rifled rebronze barrel with markings and metre rise. Plain breech case, breech tail with markings. Saddle ring, butt plate, front and rear iron grenadier. Walnut stock (traces of old studding removed). Total length: 97 cm (Small punctures). Category C to be declared, N° 671529. Nearly 15,000 Winchester Model 94 were issued to the French Army during WWI, mainly to the French Army of the Train. These rifles were manufactured in New Haven in 1913 for the majority. Their serial number is in the order of 600 000 to 700 000.
