Belt knife, Tibet, 19th - 20th centuryWrought iron blade and a bone handle with a chased silver pommel decorated with interlacing. Two coral cabochons are set in the center on a mobile ring. The scabbard is made of wood covered with leather and decorated with silver elements embossed and chased with interlacing decoration. The whole embellished with ten coral cabochons set on the silver mounts. A leather strap attached to two brass rings allows the knife to be fixed to the belt. Length: 37 cm; gross weight: 487 g
