COLETTE GUÉDEN (1905-2000) & PRIMAVERA (ATELIER D'ART DU PRINTEMPS) FOR THE DESIGN BY JEAN-RENÉ PROU (1917-1983) OF THE APARTMENT OF MR AND MRS R. IN NEUILLY IN 1957-61Large dining room table. The base is made of wrought iron with a black patina; the double legs are joined by a strut ending in a geometrical cage at each end. The legs are finished with square glides, the brace and the legs mounted with staples. The rectangular top with rounded corners is made of comblanchien. The top is (re)surfaced and (re)varnished, small scattered chips on the edges. Height : 73,5 cm - Length : 200,5 cm - Depth : 100,5 cmProvenance : - Mr and Mrs R., Neuilly-sur-Seine . From an entire decoration designed by Jean-René Prou between 1957 and 1961 for their apartment located on the ground floor of the building built in 1909 by Mr. R.'s grandfather .
