He has just "deposited at the Beaux-Arts office thirty notebooks of engravings forming the complement of the 7th, 8th and 9th issue of my work on the points of view, the uses and cars of Russia"... The letter is accompanied by the prospectus of the work Views of the main cities of Russia; customs and costumes of the inhabitants of this empire, designed and engraved by M.-F. Damame-Démartrais.
