Charles de GAULLE (1890-1970). L.A.S., November 22, 1947, to Jacques Soustelle; 2 pages in-8, headed General De Gaulle.
Attached are 2 photographs showing De Gaulle with Jacques Soustelle.

Note "For Mr. Soustelle," Secretary General of the Rassemblement du Peuple français (RPF).

No one, as far as I know, joined Mr. Castaing personally. Generally speaking, I note, with regard to this case, what is the state of mind of a few. They are in no way responding to the appeal I made to the French and which is the basis of the Rassemblement.
