This Lieue terrienne des centz rantes et revenus qui deppandent de la Seigneurie de Montz was drawn from the terrier received by Jacques Barjon notary of Saint-Georges Orceyrolles. Beautiful burrow for about twenty places of the seigniory of Montz or Mons, in Auvergne. The fortified castle of Montz (or Mons), in Le Puy-en-Velay, fell into the inheritance of Marie-Isabeau Spert in the middle of the 17th century; only daughter, she married Jacques-Hubert Pradier d'Angrain, lieutenant general in the seneschal of Le Puy, whose name appears on these pages. The last marginal updates are dated 1783.
