Drumont denounces the "Opportunists" of the Panama scandal, who have nothing of the bonhomie of the sovereigns and rulers of yesteryear: what characterizes them, "is ferocity in ignominy, wickedness in baseness"; they are rascals who abuse the weak, who privilege the Jews to the detriment of the French... And to point the finger at "the Freycinet and the Burdeau"....
