Two fans, 18th century - One, the skin leaf, mounted in the English style and painted with a shepherdess crowning her beloved in a garden setting. Reverse side painted with fishermen near a tower. Ivory frame* pierced, engraved and enhanced with colours of shepherds and Chinese subjects. H.t. 29.5 cm-H.F. 15.9 cm (incomplete, accidents, restorations) - The other, the silk leaf enhanced with an embroidered decoration underlining flowers painted in gouache. In the centre, a cartel painted with a gallant theme. Ivory frame* pierced, engraved and applied in silver with a decoration of a love among leaves.
