Publisher's cardboard under illustrated dust jacket and rhodoid. Original edition of this monograph researched on Marc CHAGALL (1887-1985). It is decorated, apart from numerous reproductions of works and photos in black and color, with 15 original lithographs, including one on the dust jacket, one on the title and 13 off-text (11 in color and 2 in black). Four of the off-texts are on double page. A very well preserved copy despite a small tear on the dust jacket and a lack of rhodoïd.
