A retired farmer, Fernand Chatelain, with the help of his wife, diverted everyday objects and building materials to create large sculptures in painted cement, which he staged in his garden on his property in Fyé. The model presented here is a study for Les Centaures de son jardin (cf.: Claude Prévost, Clovis Prévost, Les Bâtisseurs de l'imaginaire, éditions Klincksieck, 2016, p. 154).
