One of the first 8 copies on japanese paper, this one one of the 2 out of trade, enriched with a suite in black on china of the full page lithographs, and an original gouache, here that of the illustration on the cover. SINGLE COPY, ACCOMPANIED BY THE 17 ORIGINAL GOUACHES OF THE BOOK. These gouaches are not signed by the artist and differ from the lithographed versions. They are protected by a crystal paper on which Jean Hugo has written the serial number and the caption of the illustration. Perfectly preserved copy. Gouaches 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 13 and 16 were matted.
