This large-format work, designed and produced by Pierre-André Weill, features 10 poems by René Char taken from Dehors la nuit est gouvernée (1938). It is illustrated with 11 colour lithographs by Max ERNST (1891-1976), including one on the cover and 10 full-page, printed on Fernand Mourlot' s presses . The edition was printed in 290 copies on Arches vellum signed by the author and the artist. Very well preserved copy. The blanket is as always brown.
