Under the title Album charivarique. Passe-temps de la campagne presents a series of lithographs and woodcuts by Daumier, Vernier, Cham, etc., taken from the newspaper Le Charivari. These are dummy albums, almost every copy of which is different. Published by Le Charivari, they have a special cover with Martinet as publisher. Each proof includes the printed text of the Charivari on the reverse side. These 7 albums contain a total of 279 lithographs and woodcuts, between 39 and 41 per volume, including 143 by Daumier, 74 by Cham, 50 by Vernier, 9 by Édouard de Beaumont, 1 by Bouchot and 2 whose artist is not identified. At least 3 lithographs are in duplicate. Dirty blankets with some tears. The lithographs are very well preserved.
