Sword of a foot fighter officer of the Imperial Guard. Wooden handle entirely filigree silver. Frame in chased gilded brass . Guard with a branch and two mumps engraved with foliage, one of which is surmounted by a silver profile emperor's head (posterior). Curved blade with round back. Counter-edge, gutter and hollow sections, engraved in cartouches on one side "hunters by foot" on the other side "imperial guard ". At the heel, foliage, IS & C weapons trophies . Leather sheath with two brass trims engraved with the line (back ). Period 1802-1815.
