Hussar officer's sword. Leather-covered handle with watermark. Gilded brass frame, decorated with a line. Chiselled knob of a weapon trophy . Guard with a branch, German style, two mumps on a stick. Curved blade with flat back and hollow sides, engraved at the third of a loading hussar and "vivat hussar" signed at the heel "Black-headed shepherd in Strasbourg".
